Post-Process: Sand Storm

This Sand Storm post process shader has been created in Unreal Engine 4. The shader is interactive through exposed material parameters, which allow the developer to modify various properties.

 

Parameters:

  • Clear Color: Allows the user to select the blend color of the clear zones in the storm.

  • Dense Color:Allows the user to select the blend color of the thick zones in the storm.

  • Density: Controls the quantity of sand in the air.

  • Height: Controls the height the sand reaches.

  • ClearNear: Allows the user to choose between having clear visibility near the camera or not.

  • ClearHardness: Controls the gradient if clear near is true.

  • ClearDistance: Controls the max distance clear near reaches if true.

  • Noise: Allows the selection of different patterns

  • Speed X: Controls the speed in x of the storm.

  • Speed Y: Controls the speed in y of the storm.

  • WP Divisor: Controls the tilling of the storm in world position
