This Blur Depth Based post process shader has been created in Unreal Engine 4. The shader is interactive through exposed material parameters, which allow the developer to modify various properties.

 

Parameters:

  • Blur: Controls the amount of blur far from the camera.

  • Distance: Control the distance around the camera where the sharpening gradient stops and begins blurring.

  • Sharpen: Controls the amount of sharpening near the camera.
