Shader: Mesh Trail
About
This mesh trail shader has been created in Unreal Engine. The shader is already multidirectional, so it can be directly applied as a standalone or in conjunction with a particle effect. The shader is interactive through exposed material parameters, which allow the developer to modify various properties.
Parameters:

Amount: Controls the length of the affected zone by the shader.

Fringe Height: Controls the length of the colored affected zone by the shader.

Height: Controls the length of the trail.

Tilling: Controls the texture’s size on the mesh.

Noise 1: Allows the user to select one of the combined patterns in the mesh.

Noise 2: Allows the user to select one of the combined patterns in the mesh.

Axis: Allows the user to select in which direction the trail should go.

Base Color: Allows the user to select the color of the not affected zone by the shader.

Emissive Color: Allows the user to select the color of the affected zone by the shader.
