This portal shader has been created in Unreal Engine. The shader is interactive through exposed material parameters, which allow the developer to modify various properties.

Parameters:

  • Bump Size: Controls the size of the tunnel from the pivot point to the portal.

  • Cubemap Rotation: Controls the amount of rotation in the Cubemap Rotation Dir axis.

  • Cubemap Zoom: Controls the amount of zoom of the texture

  • Emission Back: Controls the amount of color in the back of the portal.

  • Emission Front: Controls the amount of color in the front of the portal.

  • Pulse Speed: Controls the speed of growth of the portal’s circle.

  • Cubemap: Allows the user to select a different cubemap world.

  • Bump Direction: Controls the direction of the bump tunnel.

  • Cubemap Rotation Dir: Controls the axis of rotation of the cubemap

  • Cubemap Scale: Controls the scale of the cubemap’s cube.

  • Cubemap Tiling and Offset: Controls the tilling of the cubemap texture and offset of the camera in the texture.
